Choose a subject that gives you a starting point

The Great American Road Trip Quiz brings together scenic routes, landmarks and recognizable places. Other games in this collection explore states, national parks, kitchens and memories of earlier decades. Choose a familiar subject for a relaxed warm-up, or open a less familiar topic when you would like the explanations to introduce you to something new.

Read the question before comparing the answers

Notice exactly what is being asked: a place, a name, an object or a period of time. Rule out answers that do not fit that category, then compare the remaining choices. Selecting an answer commits that question. Read the feedback before moving on; it explains the intended answer even when your choice was different. The next-question control lets you continue when you are ready.

Use the result to revisit what surprised you

A quiz result counts the answers you chose correctly in that session. It does not tell you how broadly you know a subject. Remember a surprising explanation and try a related topic next, such as a word search after a geography quiz. Replaying a quiz can make familiar questions easier because you have already seen the explanations. If you want a different kind of challenge, switch to word, logic or visual games in the main library. Read the individual game page for its question format and controls.
