Vespucci Beach – based on Venice Beach
Another location from the real world that appears in Grand Theft Auto V is Venice Beach. GTA V is not even restricted to actual geological sites. Hipsters and the general public both use Vespucci Beach, which is on the west coast of Los Santos. It has a view of the Pacific Ocean and is based somewhat on Venice Beach. Most players have probably been to Vespucci Beach several times to view the Super Yachts in the water or to ride a sea-doo. The area is controlled by the Marabunta Grande, although members of the Vagos show up in the area during the mission Repossession and may also appear in Planning Work: Inside Man.
Big Creek Bridge – based on the Bixby Bridge

There is a good probability that anyone who has ever traveled on Grand Theft Auto V’s western roadway or who has been on a boat in the ocean to the west has seen the Big Creek Bridge. Water flowing beneath the Big Creek Bridge enters the mountains. Many gamers might not have been aware that the Big Creek Bridge in Grand Theft Auto V was modeled after the Bixby Bridge in Big Sur, California. Uncanny similarities may be seen between the two bridges. It’s one of the many Los Santos mysteries that only a select few are aware of.
Mount Chiliad – based on Mount San Jacinto
The tallest mountain in Grand Theft Auto V, Mount Chiliad, is a hub for conspiracies. Numerous rumors surround the mountain, including reports of Bigfoot and the presence of a UFO. The mountain’s look and similarities to Mount San Jacinto make them likely inspirations. The other two named mountains in Grand Theft Auto V are Mount Josiah and Mount Gordo. Additionally, Mount San Antonio or Mount San Gorgonio may have served as the inspiration for Mount Chiliad.
The Badger Building – based on Capitol Records
Anyone familiar with its actual equivalent will recognize The Badger Building as a relatively tiny yet significant structure. It is located in and surrounding Vinewood’s Hawick shopping area. In Grand Theft Auto V, the structure itself isn’t very useful, however in Grand Theft Auto Online, it houses one of SecuroServ’s headquarters. The Capitol Record building, most known for creating the American records for the Beatles, is closely modeled in the Badger Building’s architecture. Frank Sinatra, the Bee Gees, and the Beach Boys are a few other well-known musicians that have collaborated with Capitol Records.
Maze Banh Arena – based on The Forum
The players can discover a stadium supported by the fictitious Maze Bank in the southern region of Los Santos. The venue is well known for being the site of the fictional reality show’s auditions in the story mission “Fame or Shame.” In Grand Theft Auto Online, especially for the Arena War events, it is widely employed. The Los Angeles Lakers’ former home court, the Forum in Inglewood, California, serves as the inspiration for the Maze Bank Arena. The Forum also had naming rights controlled by Great Western Bank, much as how the Maze Bank Arena is named after the Maze Bank.
Kortz Center – based on Getty Center
The Kortz Center, a museum with a view of much of Los Santos, is located a short distance outside of the city. The center is the location of various Grand Theft Auto Online objectives and events, including the pivotal and dramatic story mission “The Wrap Up.” The Getty Center, a campus of the Getty Museum in Brentwood, Los Angeles, serves as the inspiration for the Kortz Center. Numerous paintings and sculptures by well-known painters like Van Gogh may be found in the museum.
